Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Ferat Shala has called the government's punitive action a 100-man increase in property tax rates.

According to Shala, to say that municipalities can operate in tax policies, and the state does not have access to tax policies is on its own.

It is true that with Article 9 of this law, the competencies of the minimum and maximum limit of the property value is the responsibility of municipalities, but it can be controlled, managed and changed by the central level. The ministry last year reviewed it, but it is its responsibility that under these economic circumstances it did not have to make the value of the property price, because it was inflation and the energy crisis”, he said in the Blog in Tv 1.

Shala has said the government would have to change the limits of minimum and maximum property tax.

The ministry is not supposed to make a minimum limit under completely unprovable economic circumstances. It has intelligence to change the limits of minimum and maximum prices. It has the law ready, should intervene, bring down the law and lower the minimum threshold, which is 0.15 % to 1 %x1>, Shala said.
