Two suspects arrested in two car theft cases

Two cases of car theft in the town of Gjakova were initiated in December 2022 by the Police Station in Gjakova. By the date of 05.12.2022 was stolen from the O car. PEL Corsa, while on the date of 22.12.2022 VW Golf, cases presented by car owners.

On the date 07.01.2023 Police station in Gjakova has arrested suspects:

1. A. L., resident in the village of Carrabreg-Decan, born in 1992 (state of the Republic of Kosovo) and
2. St. K., resident of the village of Kishareke-Drenas, born in 1990 (state of the Republic of Kosovo), on suspicion that the same were involved in the conduct of criminal work “veditation” in two cases. Thanks to the ongoing investigation, both stolen cars have been found and seized.

All investigative actions undertaken have been conducted in co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, with whose decision the number one suspect has been detained in holding and against him the case for stealing the car, while the second suspect has been initiated case “Blerja, accession or hiding items used with the commission of”.
