In Zurich, Switzerland, Prime Minister Kurti addressed 60 investment entrepreneurs in Kosovo events that his office paid more than 58 thousand euros with a government decision, without procurement procedure yet on the same day, demanded 70 more troops from Filanda to bring into KFOR's framework in Kosovo. How?
Prime Minister Albin Kurti has organised the investor summit in Zurich, Switzerland, where he is staying for the World Economic Forum held in Davos. According to Kurti's announcement, he spoke to more than 60 entrepreneurs from various fields as an invitation for investments in Kosovo. But while Kurti had 60 entrepreneurs in this summit hall, in another hall (room), he would ask Finland for 70 additional troops under KFOR in Kosovo. Notable, the question of how much the first event has been paid for is the Investors Summit, and how has it been paid?
The issue was originally raised by former Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, who said Kurti (government) has paid over 58 thousand Swiss francs for the summit, a company without any procurement procedure.
Periscope has found the document that Government has issued the amount of money of over 58 thousand francs which is currently equal to 58 thousand euros ) the company called Secure Link Services AG (SELISE).
This money was issued with a decision by the Kosovo Government meeting. Based on the e-procubation website, the tenders of the Prime Minister's Office, or any other public institution, it doesn't figure there's been any real tender procedure, which means that competitiveness has been avoided, not even in negotiated procedure.
Former Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti now LDK deputy focused on his response to the criticism of how Kurti spoke about investments and requires more soldiers for KFOR on the same day. “Davids: Calls for investors and conflict warnings do not go together
He goes to Davos and organises a miniconference for investments for which he pays a consultant company 58,341.19 Swiss francs without any procurement procedure.
But, in the next room, it requires about 70 more KFOR troops from Finland, even though KFOR increases and reduces the number of soldiers overnight as it needs.
What messages are these, and what investment promotion is this?
Who is giving such counsel?
Does this approach lead to the field of politics and economics? Periscope.
To this summit, Prime Minister Kurti announced:
At the Investors Summit in Zurich, Switzerland, organised by the Government of Kosovo, I invited Swiss businesses to invest in Kosovo.
More than 60 entrepreneurs from the field of infrastructure, energy, production and information technology, along with the government delegation, introduced opportunities the Republic of Kosovo offers to investors and foreign investments.
We stressed the progress noted in the past two years, the rule of law, institutional stability, implementable fiscal policies in the country, government investment plans and our talented new workforce”.
But yesterday, then, the day Kurt spoke to him. 60 investment entrepreneurs, 70 more troops under KFOR, asked Finland.
