The alleged killer author escaped with a Chrysler after the shooting and is still on the run.
“He is a dangerous person and the shooting has been random, so there is danger for community”, police warned.
The shooting in Washington comes after those in California where seven people were killed and those in Monterey, where an elderly Asian-born killed 11 people in a dance hall.
This month the United States has recorded record shootings with firearms, more than ever in American history.
