Serbia's Defence Ministry has said the letter has been delivered to President Aleksandar Vuciq.
On 16 December, Serbia submitted its request to KFOR for the return of 1,000 soldiers to Kosovo. Serbia has said it is seeking the return of the army to “the defence of Kosovo Serbs”, at the time of tensions following the establishment of barricades in northern Kosovo.
