Serbian Defence Ministry: KFOR Answers Serbia for Army Return Request

KFOR representatives have responded to Serbia following its request to return the army to Kosovo territory, the Ministry of Defence of Serbia, which has not provided details on the content of the response by KFOR, has revealed. Serbia's Defence Ministry has said the letter has been delivered to President Aleksandar Vuciq.

On 16 December, Serbia submitted its request to KFOR for the return of 1,000 soldiers to Kosovo. Serbia has said it is seeking the return of the army to “the defence of Kosovo Serbs”, at the time of tensions following the establishment of barricades in northern Kosovo.
