Ukraine's president, Voldymyr Zelensky, met in Kiev with the delegation of American senators made up of Lindsay Graham, Richard Blumenthal and Sheldon Whitehouse.

A statement by the Ukrainian presidency says American senators Graham, Blumenthal and Whitehouse were received at a meeting by Zelensky, writes Anadolu.

At the meeting, which was held by closed doors to the media, which included US Ambassador to Caiv, Bridget A. Bink, reportedly Zelensky announced the US delegation for developments regarding the Russia-Ukrainian war.

It is stressed that at the meeting held in the Ukrainian presidency, Zelensky thanked senators for the support they have given his country.

Recalling that the US has approved the new arms aid package for Ukraine, Zelensky said “The gun aid package would include military equipment and ammunition we need. The U.S. is a leader in this extremely important case”.

Issues such as continuing sanctions against Russia and continuing military aid to Ukraine were addressed at the meeting.
