The “Ukraine's efforts, assisted by the response of Kiev's international allies, have resulted in Russia “tasem having completely failed to achieve its imperialistic goals”, he said.
He noted the support shown to Ukraine by the group of seven rich countries (G7), noting that Germany made 12 billion euros (12.9 billion dollars) available last year.
“We will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary”, he said.
Scholz is the only G7 leader to address Davos this year.
