Representative of the Friedri Organization Tch-Ebert-Stiftung in Kosovo, Rene Schlee, said on the show “Last News at RTK, that during its drafting, they have made sure that it is in line with the Constitution of Kosovo and that this has also been the goal of this organisation during the drafting of this draft and the once that it is in line with and with the Brussels Agreement.
According to him, the Association statute will not have executive competence. He made it known that this document was starting to work a year ago.
This is a proposal for public discussion, aim of German organisation Friedri ch -Ebert- Stiftung was to make a contribution to the public debate. Even before, there has been much debate, but no one has offered a public proposal for this”, Schlee told RTK.
According to him, this draft should be viewed only as the beginning of the conversation and by no means as the final version of what it should look like.
“I hope everyone engages in the draft and reads it. We have legal review and no constitutional changes that need to be made in this regard. If you take this statute as we've drafted it we don't need constitutional changes”, Schlee said.
