Report: Half of US gun murders are caused by personal or work disputes

The report comes just days after two armed men attacked crowds in California who caused 18 casualties while authorities are still searching for authors ' motives, who were elderly men.
Massive armed murders have become a common phenomenon in the United States in recent decades. But lawmakers remain divided for solutions, with Democrats calling for more measures to control weapons, while Republicans who are more vulnerable to mental health and increased security.
The 70 - page report published today examined 173 incidents in which three or more people were injured. The attacks targeted, among other things, jobs and religious sites, public transportation, causing the death of 513 people and the wound of 1,234.
According to the report, firearms were used in 73% of the cases. /Abc news
