Posters appear in Belgrade saying Zelensky “is NATO terrorist”

These posts are signed by the right-wing organisation “Conservative Movement Nashi”. On January 22nd they settled in the N1 television courtyard in Belgrade, but also at the entrance of Danas newspaper's office.
At the end of last year, the staff of Danas received death threats, saying they would happen the same as those of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, who were killed during the 2015 terrorist attack.
Ukraine is not part of NATO, although it has expressed aspirations to join this military alliance.
The official Kyevi for almost a year is facing the unprotested Russian invasion.
Serbia, Russia's ally, has refused to join Western states and the European Union to impose Moscow sanctions due to the war on Ukraine. However, Belgrade has voted several UN resolutions condemning Russian aggression.
Top Russian officials have argued that Moscow in Ukraine is now fighting the NATO alliance.
The NATO states, along with other states, since the invasion began, have helped Kiev with weapons in order for Ukrainian forces to expel Moscow forces from Ukraine's territory. / REL
