Former police official goes on hunger strike tomorrow

Eris Jashari, former police official, has announced that from tomorrow he will go on a hunger strike, until health insurance is realised for the Kosovo Police.

He has said that he will consume only water, and he will stay day and night in a tent set in the square.

Yasar resigned on July 4th 2017 and is now coordinator of the non-governmental organisation “Return to Your Earth KTT”.

The date 31 January is selected to recall the sacrifice and self - sacrifice of January 31, 1999, when Hero Osman Gashi fell and martyred forever of life, jumping on a hand grenade in order to save his friends at the local location.”, the announcement said.
