In a report by the Kosovo Police investigators in investigations into Ambassador Berishaaj, doubts are cast on Nagip Krasniqi's involvement in a corruption case through agreements reached with the Universal Energy Supplier, Turkish company KESCO.
Krasniqi, appointed at the helm of the KEK management with the support of the ruling Vetevendosje Movement, late 2021 and early 2022, has signed two agreements, which are suspected to have caused damage to the state budget.
Paparaci has secured the Kosovo Police Investigation Directorate report. It raises doubts that Nagip Krasniqi, in the quality of KEK's chief, had violated an agreement concerning the Ministry of Economy aimed at financial support in overcoming the energy crisis.
The “Monitoring and Control Agreement signed with the date of 22.12.2021 between the Ministry of Economy and KEK Sha is aimed at financial support in overcoming energy in the country by relying on Kosovo Government's No.02/49 decision dated 17.12.2022.

In the second agreement, signed with KESCO, KEK would delegate the private Turkish company, K ESCO, competencies for electricity trading for the needs of Kosovo consumers.
“KEK Sha again signed agreements with the Kosovar Energy Supply Company KESCO Sha on electricity trading from import based on recommendations of the Emergency Technical Committee formed in accordance with the UA No.04/2017 on regulations and limited power supply measures in emergency situations”, the report said.
