Poland could send Leopard tanks to Ukraine without Germany's approval

Polish Prime Minister Matthews Morawiecki has warned that his country can send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine as part of a wide capacity, even without Germany's approval, increasing pressure on Berlin prior to an Allied meeting for more military aid to Kiev. “consus is of secondary importance. [...]
“consus is of secondary importance. We'll either get this Consesus quick, or we'll do what we need to do for ourselves, the Polish chief broadcaster for the Pollsat News, Reuters reports, says Periscope.
A government spokesman was unable to comment on whether Morawieck was referring to Poland or a group of states that could send tanks without Germany's presence. Poland had repeatedly repeated that it would send tanks only as part of a wide coalition.
The most important thing for Germany, and not only for Germany, is to offer its modern tanks and heavy weapons because Ukraine's ability to defend itself may depend on this”, Morawicki said.
Poland and Finland have said they would send the Leopard tanks if Germany removed its veto as part of a broad coalition, with other states implying that they too would be willing to do so./Periscopi/
