Democratic Party of Kosovo Vice President Vlora Citaku at a news conference has accused the Kurti government of three major scandals in recent days.
Citaku said Albin Kurti as prime minister is continuing to defend Ambassador Berishaaj unconditionally, is violating the KLA's mention and conglomerating Ivanovic, as well as failing in diplomacy.
What's wrong with the last few days and not just the Kurti Government? There is unconditional protection for Martin Berisha, there is no bringing him to justice. There are denials of speech for Kosovo Liberation Army soldiers, and elogues for Oliver Ivanoviqi. There is a lack of recognition and impasse in empowering Kosovo's international subjectivity, of Kosovo's application proceedings at the Council of Europe. There's an opposition Albin Kurt, and another Albin Kurt in Government”, she stressed.
The PDK deputy chairman again called for Ambassador Berisha to be dismissed from office and investigate his relationship with the energy mafia.
“Techa Martin Berishaaj, dismissal is not enough. Data published by different international media must be an alarm for the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
Moreover, today, more than ever, the Prime Minister must answer a series of questions that we have posed for a year. How has Martin Berisha's citizenship been granted overnight? How did he get the security certificate from AKI? Have 1m and 470 thousand euros been used to finance the campaign of Vetevendosje Movement and the Guso” List, Citaku said.
As for diplomacy, Citaku considers that the Kurti Government has failed to the extent that the state of Kosovo is failing to maintain and cultivate reports, even with countries it has previously recognised.
“Dje, Togo's Foreign Minister announced that they have drawn recognition of Kosovo's independence, when we expected new recognitions of our country. But this is not the most painful part. The painful part is that, even in an organisation like the Council of Europe, where we have more than two-thirds of the necessary votes, despite Russia's exclusion and Belarus, Kosovo's application continues to remain untreated. That means, that we are not able to maintain and cultivate reports even with countries that have known us”, she added.
Citaku, accusing Prime Minister Kurti of humiliating the KLA, said that history cannot be erased, and like Vetevendosje Movement communities and Kurti's Facebook stances.
On the anniversary of Recak's Massacre, the government denied the word to Recak's former KLA fighter, Adem Ramadani. Meanwhile, the next day, Prime Minister Kurti made elogues for Oliver Ivanoviqi. Prime Minister, the story is not hidden or resold as the communiques of the Vetevendosje Movement and your positions on Facebook”, Citaku said. /Periscopi/
