Haxhiu estimated that withdrawing money from the Trust is necessary due to the economic crisis.
After the Parliament refused to vote on the Trust bill, citizens began to gather themselves to provide signatures as well. From July 15th, it continues to be brought from the checkshelf to the government's drawers, now that it's blocked by the Commission for Boards and Transfers. I very much hope that headship will be attentive, not to continue with further regulation violations and at the first session of the Parliament, to put the Trust bill back on. It is a necessity of time because of the” economic crisis, Haxhi said on the “show. Info Nata” in Tv1.
At the same time, Haxhiu announced that according to the Central Bank report, in the past year alone there are 1.5 billion new loans in Kosovo.
“According to the Central Bank report, 4.2 billion total loans in Kosovo, in the last year alone 1.5 billion are new loans. Thus, citizens have gone into debt to pay for wood or basics. Therefore, it would be less expensive for them to take some of their savings”, Haxhi said away.
On the other hand, he stressed that the Trust as the organisation and fund of individual savings has been necessary in view of inflation and COVID-19. But according to him, now there's a need to create a new model when generations pay for their generation.
