Afera Berishaaj is continuing. Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia became a millionaire only for the past seven years. That's because of the payments he received from ʹ GEN in Serbia. Moreover, it also seized tens of thousands of euros from another energy company in Belgrade. These elements strengthen the suspicion of Berisha's strong ties with energy mafia.
Paparac has discovered that Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, Martin Berisha, has accepted thousands of euros from a Serbian energy company, except GEN from Belgrade.
The money was withdrawn by Ambassador Berisha himself through the company “M B Consulting” in 2016. It's a total of 39 thousand and 600 euros.
Paparaci has secured the entire transactions of Berisha's company over the past few years.
Kosovo diplomat has accepted over 1m and a half euros in bank accounts. It's attracted them to the “business need”.
In the midst of that considerable amount, there is also 39 thousand and 600 euros that Berisha has accepted from a Serbian company. This is the company “Energize LLC”, as part of the “Energy Group”.
Her headquarters is located in Belgrade. According to the web site description, this business reportedly provides solar energy design and construction.
The money in Berisha's accounts has been handed over on 16 June, 2016 by Vladimir Popovic, who figures as manager of the company.
Among other things, Berisha is being investigated in Kosovo for three criminal acts: money laundering, tax evasion and hiding property.
Despite that, he continues to be invulnerable and at the same time is enjoying the protection of Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani.
In Kosovo, the Kosovo ambassador company in Croatia has recorded transfers worth 1m and a half with the company “G Ene Doo” in Belgrade.
And about 900 thousand euros his company “M B Consulting” had marked them as access from “GEN doo” in Belgrade, Martin Berishaaj had personally attracted them through his bank accounts between 2016-2021.
Consequently, Berisha's company has damaged the Kosovo Republic budget in many of the 73 thousand euros.
However, Berisha does not find director and shareholder of the company “M B Consulting” in Kosovo since 18 January last year.
