Abdixhiku says Rugova was the founder of Kosovo's freedom and independence, and today more than ever, he is missed.
“Today, as every January 21st, we mark and honor historic President Ibrahim Rugova, who has not been among us for 17 years. But his footsteps and his political legacy continue to be vital for us and the Republic of Kosovo”.
<x0brahim Rugova was the founding father of the state of Kosovo, and the iconic leader of the largest Albanian national movement, was the largest Albanian in the history of the people of Kosovo, and the effort to make its commitment to freedom, independence and democracy is the greatest historic success of Albanians”.
Today we feel his absence, his wisdom and visit for a democratic Kosovo. Glory to Rugova's life and work”, Abdixhiku said.
