Consequently, Abdixhiku says this government is without principles and lives “from crisis to”.
During an interview for Klan Kosovo on Saturday, Abdixhiku has been asked about the governance of the Vetevendosje Movement.
In fact, this government represents the most serious case of changes of attitudes. It has not kept any principles, so it rules without principles. The principleless rulership except that it is without results and chaotic is also without responsibility to its electors. This government has promised the Development Bank, Sovereign Fund, Social residence as ID promises. Two years now there's not a single step in this direction. The truth is that I am happy that no step has been taken towards such wrong and predestined projects of failure; but the same truth is that these vows have been public, and a government is held responsible for what it promises and does<1>, Obadiah said.
On the other hand, there are necessary projects that have not received any attention in these two years. There are 160 nests promised, although only two have been built. Imagine, two nests in two years. I still have difficulty understanding how a whole government, with all its capacities, is not able to build more than two nests in two years. This government has promised government cleanliness, although there are no unmet public institutions with senior officials. Such familiarity has even become quite common. This government has promised reciprocity with Serbia, but today imports from Serbia are in the highest historical record of the past 23 years. Never has Serbia sold in Kosovo more than it sells today. For two years we don't have a yard of more paved roads. We have no new health, education, energy and economic capacity. It's two full years and two more go well soon and we'll have a government for the first time that can't be identified with any project. Not even a sign. At least something had started”, he stated.
“As the replacement of the supposed work, we have seen a government living from crisis to crisis. Crisiss have largely been caused as a result of time failure. Take inflation, for example. The stubborn refusal to lift the fiscal burden on basic products and raw materials has produced record numbers in price hikes. In energy, time failure has produced reductions in the middle of summer, and winter, especially if we have cold weather, will be even harder. We are now six months without Block A5; because the Government of Kosovo has not been exiled to this bloc in time. In the strike in education, the delay in treatment caused learning losses that were disarrayed in”, the LDK chairman has said.
In general, this government has caused clashes and polarisation with each actor in Kosovo. It has caused clashes with the private sector, calling them part of a mafia, with teachers, calling them illiterate, with the media, portraying them as capture ministers and with the political spectrum itself in the country. To our misfortune, this government has reflected this collision style, and it has reflected it on the outside; with our traditional allies. It is unbearable how we so easily commend our opponents to allies who have stayed in our worst historical moment”, Obadiah concluded.
