That's what he said in front of the media, while adding that he doesn't feel threatened.
“We don't feel absolutely at risk, Kosovo Police and other rule bodies are already dealing with this. I have come to the Assembly today as usual without having to defend myself near”, Obadiah said by not giving any more detailed details.
MP Andment Zemaj has spoken to the media, who has confirmed what Abdixhiku has said and not to mention who are political opponents.
Otherwise, Kosovo police announced on Wednesday evening that they have accepted reports by Democratic League of Kosovo officials on the existence of the assassination plans against top officials of the party.
Kosovo's “Police, in this case the competent directorate, have undertaken all necessary police actions related to the case/contact in question. All further police actions will be undertaken in co-operation and co-ordination with justice bodies”, the police report said.
Democratic League officials said that, according to information received by a foreign intelligence service, the threat was directed to the party's president, Lumir Abdijku, and her three deputies.
The deputy chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Kujtim Shala, on the Dabbat Plus show at RTV Dukagjini, has said they have been informed on the issue by an intelligence agency in the European Union.
“can confirm that we have been informed of this issue of a kind of planning and kind of people associated with organisations in Kosovo and other states of the European Union and outside the territory of Europe, individuals who have fallen into surveillance of one of the major intelligent agencies of the European Union countries, and from what we've been told there's been a structured plan for this”, Shala said.
Mr. Shala said that information informs us that threats to assassinations have to do with political motives from a wide network of people.
