“Wants to do it as NGO”; Petkoviqi nervous about the Acciation statute.

The chief Serbian negotiator in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Petar Petkovic, has reacted after the German Institute's branch in Pristina, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, has confirmed that they have already completed drafting a draft of the Serbian Major Commission Association statute. “Establishing the Serbian Communist Association statute is exclusive competence of the Management Team for the foundation of [...]
“Establishing the Serbian Communist Association Book is the exclusive competence of the Manager for the establishment of the Serbian Commission Association, as defined correctly with the agreements reached in the Brussels dialogue in 2013 and 2015, so there is no single basis or legal reason for this work to be done by any nongovernmental organisation, or any other” subject, Petkov said, the Serbian public media report, RTS.
According to him, the statute, which he says should be prepared by the management team, should then be presented to the parties in the high-level dialogue “within four months”.
The fact that the German Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Institute was dealt with by the Association statute, Petkoviqi seems to be preparing for this community of municipalities to be a kind of NGO.
It is clear that this is another attempt to present the Association of Serbian municipalities as a kind of nongovernmental organisation, with dramatically smaller competencies compared to those agreed on in the agreement where the Association of Serbian Commons will have executive”, the director of the so-called office for Kosovo said in the Serbian government.
He cited the draft state drafted in 2018, while accusing the European Union that “has not fulfilled its obligation to call a high-level dialogue where the Managing Team would present draft-state”.
