But, according to Mustafa, this plan helps Kosovo with European and Euro-Atlantic integrations.
The “seems to be an intermediate plan, which does not resolve recognition from Serbia, but makes progress in consolidating Kosovo's state status in relations with the EU and in Euro-Atlantic relations”, former Prime Minister Mustafa said.
In turn, he says Kosovo should take advantage of the opportunity and go on, rather than analyse and go back, which, as he says, only an irresponsible act of the Government can cut everything off track.
The case would have to be used, because it's a step better before it is diagnosed and backed up. As far as time goes, there's only one irresponsible act of Government to get everything off track”, Mustafa told Zeri.
The European plan, also known as the Franco-German plan, is said to regulate relations between Kosovo and Serbia, according to the UN Charter, where one of the points is Kosovo's membership in international organisations without being hampered by Serbia.
This, also described as the most important asset that Kosovo can draw out of this agreement, where, although it does not contain recognition de jure from Serbia, it receives de facto recognition from it.
The Franco-German plan has been named as a good and healthy “basis for further negotiations by the heads of state, though it does not permanently solve the issue between Kosovo and Serbia.
In fact, according to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, where the plan would have to be completed farther by the spring of this year, although deadlines have not been confirmed by the other negotiating side.
