The Ministry of Health through an emergency procedure has signed contracts with the company “Meditech”, for supplies with fast-act analog insulin and biphasical analog insulin with rapid and medium-sized action, says Schneta newspaper.
This contract has cost MSH 1,818,682 Euro for insulin supplies in quantity of over 450 thousand sosh.
The framework contract will last 6 months, and as the regular contract goes into effect through open procedure, “this negotiated contract automatically shuts down”, one of the other says in Article 1 of this contract.
We remember that the open insulin supply procedure was initiated at the end of 2020, but since then it's been in public procurement research procedure.
In this procedure, he had initially declared the company “Pharma Leader”, but this decision was reconsidered after the company's complaint “Meditch”. “Pharma Leader” had offered at a cheaper price, but did not have Marketing Authorisation, for which MSH later awarded the tender to the company “Meditch”.
“Pharma Leader” had later appealed the DPA decision to the OSHP, and the latter has restored the subject to re-evaluation three times, even though the MSH in September last year had completely cancelled.
For the latest decision to re-evaluate from O The EPS, the Health Ministry has reacted publicly, saying that with the tender court's decision, citizens' health could be jeopardised by being forced to supply with unrequisite insulin. MSH had announced in this reaction that it filed charges against O The E.P. in court. There is still no final decision for this procedure.
