Minister Aliu: Targeted by 2030, 30% of cars are electric

At the media conference following the government's meeting, Aliu has indicated that it is intended that by 2030, 30 per cent of cars in Kosovo be electrical.
According to this concept, it is intended that electrical transport to be given importance to the future cars' importation so that by 2030, 30 percent of the fleet of vehicles in our country can be electric and hybrid. They draw us closer to the EU and offer us cleaner environments and create responsibilities among citizens in terms of environment”, Aliu said.
Also, Aliu has indicated that Kosovo aims to lock in the transport network with other countries.
“From this strategy will produce important projects dealing with the field of railways in particular. This strategy will help Kosovo manage to ease emissions on the part of transport and ensure safety in traffic. Traffic security, being locked up as a network and the clear connection of transport within the country”, Aliu has said.
