Martin Berishaaj loses the battle in Slovenia with journalist, Court: No slander.

But in an answer to the Albanian Post, the District Court in Slovenia has shown that the journalist has not been convicted, and the case has “concluded without judicial effect”.

This implies that the writings for Berisha have not been described as slander.

Anja Slak, from the Judiciary Administration Service from this court, in a written response to the AP, has shown the details of the subject.

According to justice experts to whom Albanian Post has talked to, it means that the Court has not labelled the TV plans' writings for Berisha's involvement in money laundering.

Lawyer Arianan Koci has briefly clarified what exactly is understood with “the case ends without a legal effect”.

“Despite laws in Kosovo and Slovenia distinguishing, however, this implies that the indictment has been rejected. Why he may be rejected may have many reasons; of those administrative and others, but it is important to explain that when rejected, it means that there are no convicts for this case”, Koci tells the Albanian Post.

Even lawyer Edona Sina roughly makes the same explanation as what it means to end the case “without legal effect”.

“As long as we don't have full access to all subject papers as well as because of the differences of Slovenian and Kosovo legislation we cannot draw the correct conclusion, however, principledly in criminal procedure the case can be closed without legal effect when there is no subject to the issue, which means there is no object in procedure that can be punished by the” parties, explains Sina for the Albanian Post.

In the writing Berisha indicated he has indicted the journalist, he had not clarified exactly which part of the writing he was suing on.

The TV article Planet said Martin Berisha had companies in Montenegro named UK Consulting and paid as consultants by the power company GEN-I branch in Belgrade.

Later, Berisha himself would be admitted to having company with that name, and it is also true that it was paid by GEN-I branch in Belgrade.

Berisha also during reporting before the Parliamentary Commission had reiterated that he has indicted the journalist and had also commented on his background, hinting that the journalist had specific motives for writing about Berisha.

““I'm not dealing with what my son was writing that text. There's a boy named Petrovic. Father has worked elsewhere, a service of someone else, if there is no connection”, Berisha said.

But the ambassador never indicated that the court has already closed the case, and <x0 son” that “baba worked for a service” has not been convicted of slander.

Since completely closed, the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not told the Albanian Post whether they are aware of this decision by the Slovenian court.

Likewise, not even the Kosovo Presidency has been given any information on whether they have made the decision of Slovenian justice and whether this decision changes their approach in relation to the ambassador involved in the scandal.

Meanwhile, scriptures in Slovenian media are continuing.

Currently, apart from taking money and the company to Montenegro, Berisha is allegedly bringing some of the money taken to Belgrade by GEN-I has brought to Kosovo.

Berisha's money financed the campaigns of the Vetevendosje Movement and List Guxo say the first information in Slovenian media.
