Martin Berisha, Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, who is being investigated for false claims of property, money laundering and tax evasion by prosecutors in Kosovo, has again written on Facebook and Twitter about the financial scandal linking it with Slovenia's prime minister, Robert Golob.
Berisha wrote yesterday that he has never met Gorob in life, so even his relationship with him is false “News”.
“Republic of Slovenia Prime Minister Mr. Robert Golob I never know, I've never met him in my life, and I've never been in contact with him, so no matter how many times you're going to recycle the false news, it's only false news that remains”, Berisha wrote.

Nevertheless, in front of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission, where he reported about two months ago, Martin Berishaaj, thus declares. (From 0:43)
And I have to add that since the age of 16 in Slovenia, I've worked long as a professor, and we've been informed about the entire political class in Slovenia, by the former head of state who has been a friend of my class, by the president of government and so on, but these have no major connections, Berisha declared two months ago.
From what has already been reported by the media, Berisha has been paid large sums from the GEN-I power company branch in Belgrade for consultancy about energy, although by profession he is a professor of political science.
It is alleged that Berisha was part of a money laundering scheme which, through fiscal exercise, started from GEN-I to Slovenia, which he led at the time, by current Slovenian Prime Minister Golob, went to branches of GEN-I as it is in Serbia, and from there were paid persons like Berisha and then sent back to Slovenia to send the various scholarships to the world.
Recent information is that Berisha with a portion of that money has financed the election campaign of Vetevendosje Movement and List Guxo, which won the election coalition
Berisha after the elections by this coalition would be named ambassador to Croatia.
He has admitted in his statement to MPs on the parliamentary commission that he has companies in Montenegro, which he had not declared in Kosovo and also that he was paid by GEN-I Belgrade./Periscopi
