In a communiqué by the LDK, the rise in inflation should not be an increase in the tax price, while the current government considers it incapable of making this burden to citizens.
The disabled government has begun the new year even with an increase in tax burden for Kosovo citizens. This is another blow to inadequacy at a time when the cost of rising prices and cost of living has reached record levels in the country. Because of the increase in tax burden ʹ as a result of increased property ratings by the Kosovo Ministry of Finance citizens have begun to accept tax bills on property by increasing to doubling. This additional burden, in time of the price crisis, is unacceptable and unacceptable. The Ministry's decisions without co-ordination are irresponsible. With this enormous rate of inflation, in the absence of an increase in income, in economic gravity, this government policy represents us as another major failure. In times of inadequacy, this is another irresponsible act of power that has already left the citizen, the communique says.
The LDK also urges the Government of Kosovo to review this law, and the Ministry of Finance to send tax rates to the site rather quickly.
” The LDK calls on the Kosovo government to urgently review all legal opportunities to suspend property reassessation for 2023, not allowing the increase in tax burden on property for Kosovo citizens. Also, the Ministry of Finance will soon forward the new Law on Property Tax in the Assembly in order to enable municipalities to cut their tax rate threshold”, the LDK further says in communiques.
