LDK urges Murat to proceed with new property tax law, warns resolution

LDK MP Hykmete Bajrami has said it is the government who has increased the tax base on property, while asking the finance ministry to proceed with the new property tax law as soon as possible.

Bajrami, after increasing property tax bills on behalf of the LDK, asked the finance ministry to suspend the real estate fund's application and 2023 bills, according to her, to be counted according to estimates made before 2022.

She said increasing the tax base on property taxes is the direct result of the property assessment on the part of the finance ministry, while warning that LDK's demands would be presented in the form of resolution.

We will present our demands to the Commission for Business, Finance, Work and Transfere and also present the resolution in a parliamentary debate that will be organised in the shortest possible”.

The growth of the tax base is the arrogance on the part of this government, which is seeing every day that it has abandoned citizens”, Bajrami has indicated.

On the other hand, she also spoke of the finance minister's proposal, Iron Murati, who said yesterday that the government is willing to do so because of some tax, but remains municipalities to decide.

Minister Murati's proposal is political amateurism and clear sign of his inability. He has no idea how the economy functions and does not know the laws that are in the power of implementing its dictatorship. He does not know that municipal congregations do not forgive debts or taxes. Municipal frameworks do not have the right to pardon a tax which is subject to a law that is approved in the 48x1> assembly, Bajrami has indicated.
