LDK seeks Martin Berishaaj's dismissal: State image must not remain hostage to ambassador

LDK political spokeswoman Sübel Halimi has said her party has consistently demanded the dismissal of Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, Martin Berisha, and that this must happen to pave the way for fair investigations. Her reaction was caused by one, as she said, yesterday's report of a [...]
Her reaction was triggered by one, as she said, yesterday's report of a Slovenian newspaper.
“Mbrame, a well-known Slovenian newspaper, published a text on grave charges for Kosovo Prime Minister and Ambassador Martin Berishaj. First, the Prime Minister's Office must give a literal clarification on the subject. And second, what we have said from the beginning: the dismissal of Ambassador Berishaaj. The LDK has consistently requested the dismissal of the ambassador in question, who should not be relieved of duty only for the sake of the act, but because this dismissal would pave the way for fair and non-interventional investigations. Meanwhile, his position enables him power and interference! If there's nothing to hide, then why are you hiding?
Halimi says the establishment of justice also in the case of Ambassador Berishaaj must prevent Vetevendosje, which had justice on campaign slogans.
“E we have said and stood behind that the image of the state of Kosovo should not remain hostage to an ambassador. Those who came to power with a “work and justice” should not prevent justice from having work with their man. The Republic of Kosovo is above everything, on each ambassador and politician!”, she wrote.
