Kurti: We have been warned of the possibility of reducing international support

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said he has received warnings of the possibility of reducing Western support if Kosovo does not show constructive in connection with the Kosovo-Serbia talks. He, however, voiced confidence that Kosovo is witnessing as a constructive side in the process. Look, we don't have anything concrete. But they can have [...]
Look, we don't have anything concrete. But, they may have said in a way that includes or hinted that support for expected Kosovo could not be so if Kosovo did not, let's say... is not described as constructive. But we are very constructive, except that we are committed and creative”, Kurti said.
On Wednesday, it is EU emissary Miroslav Lajcak who cited that fact.

In an interview for Radio Free Europe, Kurti said he was not invited to a meeting that the US Embassy will organise in Pristina on 31 January, where it will be discussed creating the Association of Major Serb municipalities in Kosovo.
Kurti said this meeting will be held as a result of US envoy Gabriel Escobar's insistence on the Western Balkans. He said he has waited from Escobar to say in Belgrade that Serbia should recognise Kosovo, not say in Pristina that the association will take place, regardless of Kosovo's prime minister.
Speaking of the European plan for normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations, Kurti said he was not introduced in the form of “take it or leave it”, but as the platform for further discussion.
