Kurti: Vuciq is looking for the time travel machine, sometimes he wants to return to 1999 and sometimes in 2007

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq still seeks the partition of Kosovo, and that for this he is seeking a time travel machine to return to 1997 or 2007. These statements, Kurt, have been given speaking to The Economist's journalist, [...]
These statements, Kurti has given by speaking to The Economist journalist Tim Judah, who had reported from the recent war in Kosovo.
“... is looking for a time travel machine... sometimes he wants to return to 1999 and sometimes in 2007 (before Kosovo's declaration of independence)”, Kurt said.
But, you know, this train is gone. We can't go back there” Kurt continued in his conversation with Judah.
Judah has written that many diplomats see a stubborn Pope and have the impression that he has lost some of his support from the West, but according to him, his tough game policy with Vucinqi is producing results for Kosovo.
“Vuciq is at a disadvantage and has been forced to cede on several issues over the past few months. On December 15th, Kurti applied for EU membership and has assured Kosovo a promise that by 2024, Kosovo citizens will not be required visa Schengen”, Judah wrote.
Reaching a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, according to Judah, is difficult even for personal causes, in the sense of reports among leaders. He has recalled a short sequence during the interview of former KLA political leader Hashim Thaci.
“Several years ago, I interviewed Hashim Thaci, who was leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army, at the time that Vuciq was the minister of the Milosevic government. When the interview was over, he asked: Will you meet Alexander? I stepped down, but then I realized that he was talking about Vuchiqih”, relates Judah.
Judah, making a comparison, says there is no such approach now, where leaders show proximity by referring to each other by name. According to him, this could be an obstacle for Kosovo and Serbia to reach an agreement soon.
“Vuchic and Kurt despise each other. When Vuciq was minister (of Milosevic), Kurti was a political prisoner in a Serbian prison. On December 1st, Vuciq publicly called Kurti terrorist scum. The lack of personal reports made it much harder to reach a” agreement, journalism has continued.
