Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stressed that achieving mutual recognition with Serbia is now possible, as he believes in the power of the EU and US to pressure the Serbian side on reaching the final agreement.
Kurti, at the media conference, said the US role in dialogue is great until he reiterated the American President Joe Biden's stance on dialogue.
“Kosovo and Serbia need a final agreement that made full normalisation of relations with mutual recognition at centre”, he said.
As for claims on Kosovo's independence recognition, Kurti indicated that neither of them has been confirmed by Kosovo's foreign service so far.
It seems to me that more is Belgrade's attempt to prove successful in the diplomatic arena. To date, none of the claims on recognition has been confirmed by the foreign service”, he added.
