He, through a Facebook post, said that during the following year, the government has continued to implement legitimacy throughout the country.
According to him, 854 police operations against organised crime and smuggling were conducted, 3202 people were arrested, of whom 301 public officials, closed 16 illegal roads in the country's north.
Kurti wrote that during 2022, 69 criminal groups were destroyed and confiscated over 1.8 tonnes of narcotics.

He also said they built four police facilities and stations in northern Kosovo, as well as made the extension of the optic network in that part of the country, enabling, according to him, the extension of telephone waves, internet networks and radio-connection communication.
“We created the Kosovo Police Fast Border Intervention Unit, which engages in combating smuggling, trafficking with human beings, and other abuses along the” border, Kurti added.
