A report from Global Fire Power has ranked Kosovo 134th, or five positions higher than last year.
On the other hand, Albania is in 91st position.
Better still is Serbia, 58th, meanwhile Croatia in its 69th position.
Other countries in the region, such as Montenegro and Northern Macedonia, are slightly better than Kosovo. Montenegro 128th, meanwhile, northern Macedonia at 108th.
The 10 countries with the world's most powerful armies, according to the list, are US, Russia, China, India, Great Britain, South Korea, Pakistan, Japan, France and Italy.
