KMLDNJ to wound in Shtrpce: Do not prejudge the case, complete the investigation

The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms in Kosovo has called for an investigation into the case of wounding the two citizens in Shtrepca and not demanding collective responsibility. In a statement to the media, KMLDJ says that this case has not had to be politicised and that a resignation [...] may not be required.
In a statement to the media, KMLDJ says this case has not had to be politicised and that the resignation of the defence minister or the Interior Ministry can be requested since it says it should be treated as an individual case.
“KMDLNj expects and is sure this case will be handled in line with professional standards and laws in force. The KMDLNj recalls the opinion that even in this case the principle of individual responsibility is valid, as such, it is therefore irresponsible to burden with collective responsibility an institution such as the Kosovo Security Force or to seek the resignation of the defence minister or the Interior Minister”, the statement said.
KMLDNJ has also criticised the manner of reactions by various political acts to wound a child and a young Serbian ethnicity in Shtrpce while celebrating.
The “Right after this serious act came the reactions of Kosovo internationals and politicians who competed over who would react more sharply and who would name this more criminal act, even prejudging the motive of wounding two young Serbs, still without starting to investigate and let them end. At the same time, reactions from Serbia's politicians followed, ranging from Aleksandar Vuciq to the caregiver for the fate of Serbs in Kosovo, Petar Petkov, meanwhile, that pop Theodosije visited the injured in Gracanica by giving a turn of reactions to the politicians at”.
KMLDJ says it is clear that there is great distrust, largely caused by politicians and politics between Albanians and Serbs.
These tragic cases specifically serve as oxygen to politicians and politics to maintain these divisions while internationals to do and increase pressure. It would be good for the wounded to be sent to the Ferizaj Hospital, not even for their treatment to be politicised”.
“The KMDLNj congratulates Kosovo police for quick and successful responses to the arrest of the person suspected of wounding two Serb youth and expects that justice institutions, following the proceedings of evidence, will make a decision on determining the degree of responsibility rather than on the basis of political, international and local pressure and interference in the form of harsh reactions using political rhetoric, instead of argument and non-intervention in the work of investigative and judiciary. Applying double standards is especially illegal even during reactions to”.
KMDLNj is entrusted with institutions responsible for handling this case so it is against any random prejudice until a verdict is made a decision on the court's formal form.
“From the aspect of human rights this act only disseminates the lack of security, and KMDLNj expresses regret for the injuries of two young Serbs by wishing them quick and successful recovery”. /
