KFOR's “Mission is conducting engineering operations in northern Kosovo to remove several vehicles blocked on the road and restore freedom of movement in line with its UN mandate”, the report said.
Barricades imposed by local Serbs in protest of the arrest of former police officer Dejan Pantic have been removed on December 29th last year. That was after Pantic was sent to house arrest by detention. He was arrested as suspected of organising attacks on Communist Election Commission officials in the north and the Kosovo Police.
