KEDS exposed reports of electricity reductions: They're deninforms.

Some Kosovo media have reported that there will be reductions of electricity during the weekend. “From January 10th begins reductions -- these countries will remain without power until 7 hours” -- was the title published in various portals. KEDS says it had not announced that reductions would begin, nor have they started [...]

KEDS says it had not announced that the reductions would begin, nor have they started.

The planned “tasks dare not under any circumstances be interpreted as reductions. Because there is usually a very small number of consumers in planned works, while there is no interruption. So today, by over 650 thousand consumers, they are being supplied without any interruptions 99,99 percent of them, or only 118 of them have planned disruptions due to necessary jobs, since it is known that they cannot intervene under tension, and under no circumstances reduction”, it is said at KED's announcement.

KEDS says it condemns any propaganda that frightens consumers of allegedly having reductions when they do not.

“The situation with energy supplies, since entering the winter, is very stable, and KED has applied no consumer reductions as a result of the lack of electricity. So the supply is extremely stable, despite the fact that we are in an emergency and very unpredictable situation.

In these circumstances, false news, in addition to creating fear and confusion in local citizens, also harms the reputation of the company”.

The corporation assures all Kosovo citizens that if it comes to worsening the situation, it will announce in time and full transparency.

In this case, KEDS has appealed to all citizens to fully save electricity, while we ask all the media to help alleviate the crisis, as only united can we all manage more easily./Periscopi/
