John Bolton speaks of the exchange of territories: I have supported him. I still think he's right.

In a presentation to “Freegn Press Association”, Bolton said he wasn't the one who suggested that idea, but then “was talking about this”.

I didn't suggest that, they were talking about it. But it proved politically impossible in Kosovo, and then in Serbia. Tony Blair came to visit me about this, and he told me we have leaders who can do this”, he said.
Bolton, has also shown a conversation he had with the then Secretary of State about the matter.

The Secretary of State said at the time that we can't want peace more than the parties, we can't recommend solutions, but if they do, we have to support it. Many people don't like the idea of exchange of territories... but the key was that the two states were of reconciliation, until it was imposed by someone else”, he said.

In the end, about this issue, he has confirmed that the European Union has not been through it, but he still thinks that “is right”.

If the parties did, the Europeans didn't support it, I said we'd back up and still think it's fair”, Bolton declared.
