Imports from Serbia in 2022 increased by 21.7 percent

Kosovo this year has imported goods worth 371.6m euros from Serbia, which according to data from Kosovo Customs is estimated to be Kosovo's fourth trade partner in this regard.
In the year 2021, Kosovo from Serbia had imported goods worth 305.4m euros.
According to these data, Kosovo has marked increases in imports from Serbia by around 21.7% or 66m euros.
So goods from Serbia make up about 6.63% of the total imports Kosovo has had during 2022.
In the year before pandemic (2018) Kosovo had imported goods worth 386.4m euros from Serbia.
During the years of pandemic and Tax 100% (2019 and 2020) Kosovo had the lowest historical levels of imports from Serbia.
In 2019, the first year of pandemic exports from Serbia amounted to no more than 4.4m euros.

A year later, imports amounted to 173.4m euros until in 2021 Kosovo from Serbia imported goods worth 305.4m euros.
Recently, the call for boycotting products originating from Serbia has been reacted.
Campaign initiative “Do not buy Serbian products Bisa, bet” for boycotting Serbian products, Burim Piraj calls for Serbia's products not to be consumed.
Piraj in an interview for Telegrafi said the purpose of this campaign is to become conscious of Kosovo's citizen, not buying products which are imported from the northern neighbour.
He said that to become part of the campaign, it does not matter whose political party it belongs to, but the will to contribute.
