The overall hydrometerological situation in most of the country has deteriorated in recent days as a result of intense rainfall, especially in parts of the country.
IHMK has said that rainfall is expected to continue even during the following days, giving another time when it can be stopped.
The changing intensity of rain is expected to continue during the following days (up to 25/01/2023), which, based on the difficult hydrological situation, where rivers have emerged from their beds, causing floods”, the report says.
Currently the worst situation is in the western, northwestern, and northern part of the country, but given the rainfall, which is currently continuing and the following days, could cause problems and difficulties in other parts of the country, the institute has warned.
