Hungary's foreign minister has asked permanent members of the UN Security Council to start negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.
“We call on the international community to replace the rhetoric of war with the rhetoric of peace,” said Peter Szijjarto.
“humbly ask representatives of so-called superpowers to sit around the negotiating table and negotiate how peace can be created”.
Szijjarto stressed the economic impact the war is having on his country, including an influx of immigrants and high energy costs since the start of the road, writes AlJazeera.
