Former diplomat has said that with the American gas pipeline rejected, Kosovo has also lost recognition by Greece.
“The Kurti government from the day it was voted, showed that there was no plan, no will and no ambition to do any work in foreign policy, and recognitions have not been a priority, that I am sure that even in the changed international context, it would not be possible to obtain 10 to 15 recognitions per year, rather than I was provided when I was foreign minister thanks to the work of colleagues in Government, but I am sure the country could get five to seven recognitions every year.
“To do so, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should draft a strategy like I did in 2011, which would have to include countries which are close to recognising Kosovo, countries that have neutral positions in relation to Kosovo independence, and countries that are opposed, and in each case become a complete analysis of what positions they have in January of this year and what they had in the past<x1, Hoxhaj said.
While for Serbia's actions, Hoxhaj recommends that countries at risk withdraw recognition of Kosovo be visited. / EO/
