Hoti said that compared to 2021, in 2022 the imported amount of oil has been reduced by 6.39%, while budget revenues have increased to 88% or 283m euros.
“If it were to sit TVS at 8% as we proposed, these 283m euros would be in the family budget, not in the government bank account where inflation is depreciating. Nor do they spend their own tax resources, nor do they leave it to citizens to spend where they need it. [Given by the GAP Institute, which I commend for continuing tests with a lot of interest in policymaking]”, Hoti has said.
We remember that LDK deputies last year have proposed to the government that the low oil VAT at 8%, but that was rejected by the government.
