Haradinaj: I too have been threatened with life, but we have not alarmed the opinion.

Following the latest case of liquidation threats by LDK and PDK leaders and some deputies of these two political subjects, AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj, who has said he too has been threatened with life. Haradinaj has said that any threat to anyone, should be taken seriously [...]
Haradinaj has said that any threat to anyone should be taken seriously and treated professionally by law enforcement.
In various stages, both of us and myself faced various threats of life. Even when information about threats came to us on the official road, or from other sources, we have not alarmed public opinion. The first to not harm investigations and the second not to cause unnecessary burden on public opinion!” wrote Haradinaj in a Facebook post.
He further said that “would be politically incorrect and harmful even, if the involvement of public opinion on this topic of threats to public figures, used to take advantage of people's attention, even temporarily, popular interest themes, such as economic and political problems, or even major defects in the country's foreign policy!”
Otherwise, Wednesday evening a threat was reported to LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku and three deputies of this party, Avdullah Hoti, Armend Zemaj and Arben Gashi.
LDK Deputy Chairman Kujtim Shala said the assassination was planned for political reasons and that two organisations are involved in the plan for the assassinations.
The one organisation is claimed to operate in Kosovo until the other outside Kosovo. What works outside Kosovo has taken over to finance the execution of this plan”, Shala said away.
Even Democratic Party of Kosovo chairman Memli Krasniqi, and the deputy of this party, Ganimete Musliu, have confirmed Thursday that they have been reported by police that their names have been mentioned in the same case with deputies of the Democratic League of Kosovo for attempted assassination.
Krasniqi in a statement to the media, has said he is not afraid, adding that he believes in security institutions in Kosovo.
