Haradinaj after meeting with Chollet: Reaching the Urgent Need to Reach Final Agreement for Bidship

AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has been declared after meeting with the delegation from the State Department led by Derek Chollet.

He said he laid out the urgent need to reach the final agreement on mutual recognition with Serbia, as a necessary step towards normalising relations between the two states.

“at a container meeting with delegation from the State Department led by Mr. Derek Chollet, senior adviser, Mr. Chollet. Gabriel Escobar, Assistant Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Mr. Spencer Boyer, Deputy Secretary of Defence for European Policy and NATO, and American Ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Jeffrey Havenier, I laid out the urgent need to reach the final agreement on mutual recognition with Serbia as a necessary step towards normalising relations between the two states. At the same time, I laid out the need for full integration of Serbian citizens into the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as full implementation of the order and law in every part of the country. I thanked the American representatives for the continued assistance of the United States in all phases of Kosovo's freedom and statehood, and asked for their support even in this sensitive phase without which we could hardly reach a final peace agreement”, he wrote. /Indesksonline/
