Government successfully describes package supply for maintenance of 5% of schools

Under the successes in last year's education sector, the Government has included providing the Ministry of Education with inventory and maintenance packages for 82 schools.

Out of 1,052 institutions of pre-university education at the country level, only 55 schools have been supplied with electrical vacuums and other equipment like this for maintenance.

In the absence of equipment, cleaning of spaces at primary school in Fushe-Kosovo “Daut Bogujevci” is done with an improvised broom from staff.

Help from the ministry did not even receive primary school in the village of Tenezhdol of the Pristina municipality.

The “Power so far is very good and thankfully stays well, so not from the ministry, but from the Pristina Community. And with the inventory we've stayed well, for these objects that we have, and the main object for my mother's school in Vranidol, where we are under construction and we expect new inventory for that school”, Milaim Islami, director at SFMF “Mother Teresa” said.

In the Ministry of Education, they have said the budget was limited and they have not been able to supply other schools. They have promised that during this year they will equip the remaining institutions.

Achievement has also qualified the supply of sports equipment of 22 physical schools. And the qualifications as a success of the inventory supply and maintenance package have been criticised by education connoisseurs.

According to Xhavit Rexhaj, success should be assessed in establishing the quality of teaching.

“The execution and explanation of achievements in the area of quality or performance of teachers would be more important than providing various school maintenance packages, but it is a matter of the ministry to decide. I consider above all if we appreciate last year we have to refer to the many difficulties the education sector has faced, due to the strike, also due to the consequences of the vivid era in the early years. I think these would have to be treated with priority by the ministry”, education connoisseur Xhavit Rexhaj said.

Under achievements in education, power has also listed the division of scholarships for students and students of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities.

Also praised has been the construction of four lower and elementary schools, the unification of the National Faithful, and the piloting of dual education for four profiles.
