Germany's decision was welcomed by Polish Prime Minister Matthews Morawiecki, as he thanked the German Chancellor. He described this as the <x0th step towards stopping Russia”.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmitro Kuleba, called on allies to join “tank co-ordination” and “to send as many weapons as possible” to support Ukraine's war efforts.

The decision did not seem to be indifferent even to US President Joe Biden, who is expected to hold a press conference from the White House. From there he is expected to announce the plan to send at least 30 advanced combat vehicles to Ukraine.
