Clewing has indicated that the “violent local conflicts in northern Kosovo are particularly expected”, while adding that “developments are strictly open and besides war and resolution of disputes, almost everything is possible”.
Until the achievement of the permanent agreement with the de facto recognition of Kosovo by Serbia can possibly be reached for a long time, temporary escalation is indeed a matter of time”, he has praised.
And furthermore, the German expert has added that “given the uncertain and unpredictable situation of the war in Ukraine, it continues to have an obvious destabilising political potential for the situation in the Western Balkans”.
