German Ambassador to Serbia Anke Konrad said Germany takes seriously the concerns of Serbs living in Kosovo and that it requires the immediate start of Serbian Commission Association talks with the constructive contribution of all sides, writes Naslov.
We expect that the establishment of the Association, agreed on in 2013 and 2015, will be put into the agenda of dialogue developed with the EU mediation”, Konrad was quoted as saying about the Serbian newspaper Blic, adding that the agreement on the format of Association is one of the goals of that dialogue.
The task is known that the ambassador has said that the EU's special representative for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, “has had Germany's confidence and support” and that its “angation in recent weeks, along with European and transatlantic partners, has significantly contributed to the calming of the” situation.
It is now up to Serbia and Kosovo to start a dialogue that will lead to a permanent normalisation of relations between the two countries”, it has added.
