Given the warning from the Hydromethorological Institute of Kosovo ( IHMK) for flooding in the coming days, and with the aim of willing institutions and the Protection and Assistance Tree (SMSHN), Emergency Management Agency guides to a country-level alert, for:

1. QOE 112- Emergency Operations Center 112,

2. Professional Fire and Salvation Units i - NJPHEE as well as the Protection and Help Tree SVEN,

3. Municipal Directors for Protection and Salvation.

4. And the capacity of relevant subjects at the local and central level.

The warning for the situation is specifically related based on the forecast, which reports that, borrowed from the IHMK's prononnition” from this afternoon (Monday, date.16/01/2023) and during tomorrow's day and the postage day (August Tuesday, the date.17-18/01/2023), is expected to have rainfall with average intensity up to high, which will be the most concentrated in the western and northern part of the country, but during tomorrow they will be all in the country.

In urban areas, problems in these municipalities may arise with localized floods, depending on the state of the driving systems, maintenance and cleaning of river beds and sewers. This situation is expected to affect the rise of levels and flows of major rivers, especially of the Drini White River system, especially its right branches, the Iber River, and etc.”.
