After rainfall and floods during yesterday and evening, mainly in the northern and northwest part of the country, water levels have begun to decline today, while police activities in those regions continue to be active.
From reports of police units from the field, it is reported that in the region of Regional Police Directorate (DRP) Mitrovica South, mainly in Skenderaj and Mitrovica South, the water level has dropped, in some buildings on the ground floors still have water, in some countries there are quantities of water that have not been completely withdrawn. Police units are on the ground and are facing tasks including aid to citizens and safety in traffic. The activities are being co-ordinated with municipal and central institutions. In the region of DDRP Mitrovica, the water level has declined, there has been interference from companies in clearing up soil and stones from roads and roads are circulated, there has been no damage to people. In Istog, in four villages in this municipality, where there was flooding yesterday, water levels fell today. And in some villages in Podujevo, there have been floods yesterday, and today the water level has fallen, although not entirely.
